Custom categories are added to the catalog: Free limits do not mean you only have two categories for all your expenses.

What changes with Plus.
Free includes 50 AI requests per UTC calendar month. One action may use multiple requests, so they do not necessarily equal 50 transactions.
Plus has no monthly AI plan cap; technical usage limits still apply. It also expands custom categories and tags and includes AI tag suggestions.

Is AI mandatory?
No. Manage AI in settings and organize your records manually if you prefer.
Do my categories automatically correct all history?
No. A preference may be reused when the context matches. It does not imply globally changing saved transactions.
Do catalog categories count toward the Free limit?
No. The limit refers to one custom group and two custom categories in addition to the included catalog.
Are 50 requests the same as 50 transactions?
Not necessarily. One action may use multiple requests. The allowance renews each UTC calendar month.
